Wow, I mean crap, nope, just wow. Thanks Dale for the heartfelt account of the last couple of days. I am back home now, and the truck and trailer are taking a well-deserved rest.
Guys.... thanks for the complements, and I promise not to inhale them. (in other words I'm not letting this or any other kudos go to my head).
I guess, in a way, I proved what the Florida Crew means to me; what each and every one of you mean to me. Same sediment to my Georgia Crew. The people who are part of my life MEAN something to me. Its just that simple.
In hindsight I think it is a good idea to get something posted as soon as possible after any sort of mishap that would involve the need for any sort of assistance. We should get it up here on our Florida Crew Section. Scrambling for resources, looking for volunteers, passing the hat, etc can all take time. The sooner we can all get notified the quicker we can respond AS A TEAM.
WOW! There are not many people out there that would do something like that. I was not in Maggie Vally, though I wish I could have been, but I certainly am glad to hear that everyone is OK.
Jay
Once again let me say thanks Paul. Also I'd like to ask a favor of you, can you please give your friend that provided the truck and trailer for this rescue operation a heartfelt thank you from the Crew. Heck of a guy that'll let you take his truck and trailer and put over a 1000 miles on it to help people he's never meet.
