I got a P.O.S. old Ford Ranger...but it will pull a single bike U Haul trailer, and it and me would help out a Fl Crew brother or sister in need if at all possible.

These things are played by EAR. I do not see a support vehicle every time we ride.
I have a pick-up AND a trailer. God bless PAUL for doing what he did, but I am not
able to just travel three states on a phone call.
We put alot of faith in one another, which is cool. But if I get a call from Georgia saying 'Come get me...", MAN!...I might have to work that day.
You might call Dale, he might call me to borrow my truck...he might take responsibilty for my truck (1997 F-150 over 128K miles),
I just don't see a support vehicle on most rides.
I plan going to Texas...some FL Crew to Arizona next year.
I'm a H.O.G. member, State Farm insurance, Blue Cross Blue Shield, cell phone and a credit card is what I got.
My pick up will not be going.

Chuck

I offer my mechanical (automotive skills) to anyone in the crew. But I work a lot of hours so going along as support staff for me is not possible. Paul you are a good man and I salute you.

Here is an example of what I was talking about:
I was trying to go on the maggie valley ride and was planning on putting my bike in my truck then driving up there. If I would have driven my truck then we could have put both my bike and the one in the accident in it. I would have had no problem doing that. That is what I had envisioned. Not one person just driving a truck up there for breakdown purposes but someone hauling there own bike also so they can enjoy the clean mountain air in their face. If no one drives there truck with bike along for the ride then you have a situation like this. If no one is driving there truck and bike then maybe we help persuade someone to drive said truck by helping them out by volunteering to help drive some or something.
