And what a trip! I had a GREAT time, and did a lot of riding.

monkey sammich - where is that waterfall? Did you have to hike to that one? I just got back myself. Already trying to figure out when I can get away again. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Don't remember the name of it, have to check Google Earth. It's north of Lake Toxaway, NC and about a half mile walk uphill from the parking lot to the view of the fall. Better view about 200 vertical feet down from that, so we did that, too. My out-of-shape flatland *** was huffing and puffing. It was worth it, though. According to the locals, it's the tallest waterfall in the Eastern US.

Not to mention some girl thought nobody was watching and shed her bikini top to put on a bra in the parking lot. My brother and I applauded.

Forgot to add: barring any major developments, I'm planning another 5 day trip sometime in October. I've got room for about 3 people in my place.

The fogg was something else along with the rain and the cold hell who would have thought 60 degrees are so in JULY I was there last week myself.
