That last pic is way cool Paul. You just have to rub it in every chance you get huh?
LOL... ya know I'm not rubbing it in....... Just advertising. Heeee hee.
BTW- that's Gordon (Back Again) in front of me in that pic. All the way across Route 52 (this time heading towards Ellijay) I was trying to keep up. That boy can ride! He and I got way ahead of the group we were with, but having a blast!!!
Was just in Chattanooga last week on business. No bike this go round since it was business, drove by sticky fingers downtown and I thought that place rang a bell, heard they have great BBQ. Kimbo set me up with a good bbq place in Franklin on Thursday afternoon as I was heading over to the cabin.
1of2, whenever you (or anybody else) is headed up this way, just holler. I'd be more than happy to meet up if I can.
JD, I know I still owe you one. Now you have another good reason to come up here for a ride so I can buy you that one!! LOL
Jeff, when we lived here before, I think we went once or twice. The wife isn't really a BBQ fan at all. Besides, there's a few other better local places that are closer to my work that I used to go to.
Poorboy, I was hoping you'd post up. I wanted to meet up with you once I got up here since I knew you're in Alpharetta. It's funny, I lived here for about 30 years and never once did I ride the bike over Fort Mountain. I've driven over it, but never on the bike, so that's why I decided to take that route Sunday on the bike. Another great place to go is riding around Suches, Ga and over Blood Mountain. I haven't done that ride in several years. I'm due!! So one weekend, we'll need to get together and set a time to meet somewhere over there and do some good rides!

Ah yes..... the (locally) famous Wolf Pen Gap road. Haven't been there in a bit, but the last time there were so many tar snakes on the road I was disappointed. And that's one heck of a road for tar snakes to be crawling around on. LOL
It's been a while since I've been up there at Wolf Pen Gap. Didn't know there were all the tar snakes. That's no good. Ever ridden Wayah Road? Last time I road there, my buddy flipped his bike end over end with a trailer on the back. Picked him and the bike up off the ground, and he rode it home. Just a little rash on his knees and a bruised arm, but other than that, he was EXTREMELY lucky!! Anyway, let me know when you might be free on a weekend, usually Sundays are the best for me, and we could meet somewhere around Amicalola falls or something. Or if there's somewhere different you's want to go, I'm open to suggestions.
