Hello again.....finally
A few of you may know (most do not), my wife and I came to Naples 2 1/2 years ago for her to go to anesthesia school. She has since graduated in the beginning of June and is currently waiting to take her boards exam to start work. At the end of June, I packed up a 26' penske truck and started to journey home (Chattanooga, Tn). I got home on June 29 and moved back into our first house. So, needless to say, I am no longer residing in Florida, but will still like to keep in contact with the crew. If any of y'all ever make it up to this area (meaning north ga, east tn or western north Carolina), let me know. If I can swing it, I'd like to meet up and go for a ride!!
Speaking of rides, I happened to finally get the bike out today and go for a nice 5 1/2 hour lunch ride from my house in cohutta, ga over to ellijay, ga to grab a hickory smoked bacon burger. Just a short little lunch ride with my cousin and his 2 kids. I don't really know the milage right off hand, but who cares, we had awesome scenery and temps. Down in the valleys it was in the upper 80's and up top it was probably a cool 70 or lower. GREAT ride!!! After the burger in ellijay, we headed up through blue ridge, ga into McCaysville, Ga and back home via highway 64 through the ocoee river valley. I left my house at 8:30 to meet my cousin at his house. We were on the road by 10:00 and was home by 4:00. It was so much fun.
Only took 3 pictures and they were from the top of Fort Mountain (highway 52 between chatsworth, ga and ellijay, ga, if anybody cared).

Great to hear from you and that things are going well! I was up in the Ellijay/Blue Ridge area with Trish and some of the other ladies from the Queens of the Road Forum in May. Beautiful riding up there!

I live nearest a town called Free Home, GA (but I actually have an Alpharetta mailing address). We're not far apart so we need to plan to meet-up one of these weekends.
Please stay in touch!
I put a couple of pics here too when a gaggle of us rode through. (Weird, but I don't think I've ever been there on a clear, blue-sky day, LOL).
