Those were the best modifications that I did to my road king.
Did any of you guys have to buy the Throttle control sensor when you made the switch ?
I just got back from the dealership, and they told me along with the Bars, I will also need to purchase the Throttle Control Sensor kit. I asked him why I can't reuse the one on the bike and he just said "THE BOOK" requires it.
The Service Guy at HD, would not or could not tell me what the difference between the throttle position sensor on my bike and the one that "THE BOOK" expects me to pay for.
My neighbor replaced his 06 RK stock bars with Heritage bars...he went on a little putt up to Maine a few weeks ago and said he could not have done it with the old bars. He chunked the original bars as he said nobody needs em on a bike! He would not even give em to me! Soooo if so many people are swapping over...why doesn't Harley catch on? I don't have a RK nor have I ridden one far...so I am just askin
I've been wanting to change my bars hoping for a more comfortabe riding position. They look to be a little higher and further back to me. Does anyone have the dimensions and the PN and price? Thanks
