In the last 6 years or so, Brenda and I have met some good people on the roads of Florida. Some of ya's have become pretty good friends even. But our time here is comin' to an end. Brenda's office has a position open in... wait for it... wait for it... Tempe, Arizona! So we will be able keep brother Dale company.. or misery dependin' on how he feels about it... in Arizona. It turns out even.. that we will be around the same area! That's good for us... as we will not feel too alone in our new beginnings. I think we have about a month to get our affairs in order and head out west. Thanks to those of you that made us feel welcome around these parts. After 25 years here we're gonna miss some of Florida... and a lot of the Florida Crew... but we're very excited to make a new start!
No friggen way....seriously???? Are loosing our crew to AZ......Man we wish you both noting but happiness, success and a easy move. But till you both leave let's ride!
Well hell...... Good luck, I am excited for you all and there is a big plus for the Fl Crew..... An extra place to stay if we are near Tempe. Seriously, congrats!!!! Will really miss you guys. Please setup a "last ride"!!
It wasn't until this afternoon before we were 100% sure it was gonna happen. Saturday we were only 87% sure, so we kept it to ourselves. Plus that was Dale and Kay's send off and we weren't gonna step on it. It's just a lateral position for Brenda. Her company (Chase Paymentech) has an office there and they're lookin to expand her department into that area. So she's just movin' her office to the west coast. They'll even be flyin' her back this way for meetings and such, so I'll be countin' on some of ya to look after her durin' those times. I will still be lookin' for work when I get there. Hopin' to have better luck then I've had around here these past few months. Plus we've been debatin' gettin' outta here for years... dreamin' of the TN mountains really. But can't pass on this opportunity for a fresh start...
