I personally stay on the Panama City side of the bridge when avoiding tourists on the PC Beach side. No Names is right over the bridge and usually the bar I end up at when I go out.
Looks like you folks are in for a wet weekend. There is a tropical disturbance over the Western Caribbean moving to the northwest but a trough of low pressure and an associated cold front will be moving through Louisiana and the associated upper-level westerly winds will be able to turn it more to the northeast as it approaches the coast on Friday. One model predicts landfall will occur along the Florida Panhandle, while another model is farther west, taking the storm over Eastern Louisiana. Either way looks wet. Stay Safe
Forecast models are a little more west today, but looks like we'll still get wet Fri/Sat. Of course this happens every time I clean the bikes really well. Just hope any downpours are sporadic bands and not day-long events.
Anyone coming up for Thunder Beach this week/weekend?

There is a new barbecue restaurant in Live Oak on 129. Excellent food and service. Check it out if you get a chance. By the way, the weather folks were wrong again, like normal: ThunderBeach had great weather and was a blast. Too bad so many people were afraid of the chance for rain.
