I bought the ones from Leatherup.com since I only wear them a couple weeks a year. They work, but if you're not tall and thin forget it. Short stocky people should have them fitted. I like chaps for riding when it's cold, but they don't really protect your crotch. The leather tends to be thicker to protect you when you go down though. You can do just as well with the padded nylon motorcycle pants and they're water proof.
I have always ridden with chaps when cold, don't like the lined pants because I can leave the house in the low 40's and then by noon it's in the 60's. Can't drop the pants but can take off chaps and toss in bag.
I'll second the vote for Kelly's Leather. Good people, good products.
Got a pair there when I lived in Union, IL. That was 22 years ago, a great product. Look as good as the day I bought em, and they've gotten a lot of use.
Leather does not keep you warm (or dry for that matter), it is what you wear under it that keeps you warm. What leather does is keep the wind off, but if it is a cold wind, and you have not much underneath, then you wont stay that warm.
That being said, last year I bought the first pair of Chaps I have ever owed. And I have been riding for almost 50 years. I don't head out of town now without them on. And I have a full Klim Adventure Tour suit. It does not travel with me anymore.
If it is cool, or cold, I wear a pair of long thermals under my jeans. I have an electric vest, which keeps my core warm, which keeps my legs warm.
And most importantly, unlike Tony P, I have a nice ***, so I look smokin in them.....

Would sealing them help with the cold? Like.you do to winterize boots or a jacket with that liquid wax stuff. Would that make them better.to seal out wind?
