So trying to figure out some rules lol. Don’t have a Harley jacket just my Joe rocket and didn’t know if anyone cares these days what you wear starting off.
Wear whatever you want, no one cares, and you really shouldnt be bothered with what some random stranger thinks anyway. If you have a jacket your off to a good start. Just have fun and do what YOU want to do, nevermind anyone else.

Agree with the others, your ride, your style. Some feel the need to be a walking billboard for the MoCo. I don't feel that way. The cost of most the HD clothing is outrageous anyhow. Lots of good jackets out there for a lot less that are as good as, if not better than, some of the over priced clothing. I will buy a t-shirt from a dealer when on a trip if there is something I particularly like about the area/logo/area/dealer. Comfort always comes over style.
The only Harley apparel I own are shirts given to me because everyone I know knows I ride Harleys so every present is a Harley t shirt. Dont get me wrong, Im grateful...Maybe someday I will open my harley t shirt shop featuring only black Harley t shirts because thats what I always seem to get as a present. But I guess it beats a tie or socks. I thought about putting them all on hangers in a closet and taking a picture reminiscent of Mickey Rourkes in 91/2 weeks closet of all grey suits.
I wear a jacket that was kind of in style among sport bike riders when I bought it 30 years ago. It still fits, is in good shape and I like it, so I wear it. It makes no difference at all to me what others wear or what they think of what I wear.
I make the rules. I stop to smell my Harley jacket as I walk by it. It feels great and made like a tank. This is a 3 - 1 so it's for cooler rides. I also have it packed with armour.
I have this coming on a slow boat from China. The REV'IT! SHERWOOD AIR JACKET. As long as it's leather and doesn't say ****. They run around the same coin for either jacket. I lcan handle the low profile logo on it, but it's still there.
Choose and wear a jacket for protection when you go down and prefer to have something between your hide and the concrete meat grinder you are sliding down, not some strangers fashion opinion. Not all jackets are created equal, some are made for riding and some are purely fashion and offer little protection, even some that say HD.
