Is it OK to wear a Vanson leather jacket on a Harley FL or should I stick to the FXRG or one of the old outgrown traditional types? Jus' wonderin' cause I don't want to embarrass myself in public.

That is like asking what kind of beer you want. Vanson makes a very nice product. I am less concerned about what others think about what I am wearing, than what I think about what I am wearing. You might also want to look into Schott NYC as they make a nice product made in the usa, although they are pricey. Another HDF favorite is fox creek leather.

If you ride a Harley, you MUST wear a Harley leather jacket. If you don't, your front tire may fall off. Then the wiggle-pin in the wobble-shaft will shear off and there you'd be in a hell-of-a-mess. It can all be avoided by buying an $800 Willie G. jacket....don't chance it man. Life is too short.

Try www.legendaryusa.com they have really cool jackets that no one would make fun of you. I have to admit Vansons are kinda gay

I didn't mean to say they were gay, just really expensive. I paid less than $200 and it keeps me dry, seems pretty heavy duty and reasonably warm with a zip out liner. Had it for a couple years and seems fine. Is there something wrong with leatherup.com?
