See above post. I'm not referring to wearing a patch, my question is more generic.

During Laconia Bike Week this past year a guy who simply had a "I support my local 81" sticker on his bike got his a$$ kicked by some Outlaws who made him remove the sticker. But hey, if you wanna clown around and take ur chances, go ahead.....

While I see some of the points posted and have certainly respected the opinions - I'm not sure if I've ever seen a more apples to oranges post than this one.

Do they really catch flak from some HA that might be in Omaha? I don't hear about any biker fights or killings, we got lots of gangstas dieing though.

How does this all work? When I suggested this some people laughed at me.
Wells, Hell's Angels' web site says they have an Omaha chapter, but whatever. I agree that most club members would think it's funny, but it's the kind of thing that would set off any redneck type with an attitude.

In summary -

I really do appreciate the comments and opinions on the post. On the whole they were very helpful and will aid in my decision.

Maybe I'll go the whole three patch route and hang it in my garage - a joke amongst buddies.

Maybe I'll modify it some so as to not rile up some humorless 1%er.

I'm going to do something because I really like the cartoonish artwork a friend made for me as the center design. I'll try and scan and post the artwork sometime.

Heck, maybe I'll just go to Cafepress and make me a t-shirt with the design.

Here's something to think about.
Rather than getting feedback from us, why dont you try emailing the local clubs, and presenting your ideas to them directly. Get a ruling from the club first and you'll know whether you'll get whooped or not.
If you can get the local clubs to go along with it, keep your patch local and dont wear it outside of their turf.

BTW, nice GS

But .... you're riding a bright yellow BMW with what look like laptop cases strapped on as sadllebags. Have you considered imitating George W and just saying "mission accomplished?" If you want to go a step farther, how about having the apple computer logo tattooed on your bicep.

THAT'S my point, it soooooooo obvious you don't "get it". Do what you want, I tried to warn you. You wanna be a dumb-a$$ and play silly games with your local dominant 1% club, then go ahead. It's your funeral. Take care...
