Here's something to think about.
Rather than getting feedback from us, why dont you try emailing the local clubs, and presenting your ideas to them directly. Get a ruling from the club first and you'll know whether you'll get whooped or not.
If you can get the local clubs to go along with it, keep your patch local and dont wear it outside of their turf.
BTW, nice GS
^^^Ditto.
Blueridge, if you are going to get opinions but not accept them, it's on you.
There was an excellent post that had links to 1%er's opinions about things like this a while back, but I can't find it. But as I recall, a word that was used a lot was "educated". As in being educated the hard way.
I ride with 2 organizations. One is Veterans with a 1 piece crest. Never a problem..ANYWHERE to this point. Usually it's one attitude that gets one in trouble. i also wear a 3 pc patch. Not 1%er though. We check in with the dominant club when required out of respect.
Funny , cartoonish or not, i would do as one person here suggested, ask the question to your dominate area club..FIRST.
Otherwise make it for a garage or your rec room bar for conversation!
Good luck!

Maybe I'll go the whole three patch route and hang it in my garage - a joke amongst buddies.
Maybe I'll modify it some so as to not rile up some humorless 1%er.
I'm going to do something because I really like the cartoonish artwork a friend made for me as the center design. I'll try and scan and post the artwork sometime.
Heck, maybe I'll just go to Cafepress and make me a t-shirt with the design.

Umm, how is the following not taking into consideration people's opinions. This is from one of my posts in RESPONSE to opinions:

Actually, you misunderstood slightly. It is less cost/hassle/maintenance to ride the beemer alone - I was comparing that to when I had three other bikes and the beemer. I pared down to what I ride the most. I am not claiming that the beemer is less maintenance/cost/hassle than Harley or any of my other bikes from the Multiple Bike Syndrome days - individually. If I was unclear - sorry. Like I said, I ended up sticking with just the bike I was riding 90% of the time - and it was mainly a comfort issue.
Ahhh, I got it and makes perfect sense now. Thanks for the clarification.

I think everyone gets that. Most are simply saying that your attempt at humor is viewed as unwise because a certain element will certainly feel they're being mocked. But hey, living on the edge if fun 'til ya slip off...
I've got 2 one-piece patches from now-defunct clubs hanging in my garage. I used to have a 3 piece patch from a short-lived outlaw club, but it was "confiscated". That was an experience. Not worth repeating, either.
You might never have a problem. Or you might run into a hang-around or prospect wanting to do something to improve his standing. Or maybe you'll run into a chapter's jokester who decides to have some fun with you.
Had some chapter members awhile back wearing "99%" patches. Certain members of several different local MCs felt that it was an insult. No big ruckus, just a quiet passing of the word that it wasn't appreciated.
