You got it machpilot!...You will be checked with a patch unless you stay in your clubhouse all your life....Presidents communicate for a reason...There is a structure to the scene and it's not all "green grass and high tides"!

Every M/C is going to be different on how they view your "joke patch" I dont personly care what you wear...what i am telling you is that i dont care how bad you think you are...certain clubs will not care and will challenge you and the patch you wear...this has been an issue for decades. I dont care if you belong to a marine club, special forces club, what ever...unless you plan on challenging certain dominate clubs to thier level your in for a rude awaking....a dominant club will even challenge a "cop club" they dont fear you or the training you think you maybe able to bring to the table...there are alot of great M/C's out there. However there are a few ok more than a few that with out proper protocol will CHECK you....some may think its funny.,...many will take it as direct slap in the face and you wont get a warm reception....protocol is protocol....

having said that....peace love and granola ya'll

Good Point! There are R/C's and M/C's....For those that don't know the difference, you'll find out soon enough when you don a patch!

I am the Prez. of Rough Company ERC. (Extreme Riders Club) we are not M/C. We do not wear patches for a reason. I am also a LEO and still do not need the BS associated with dealing with patched members of any 3 piece patch club. There is no need to screw with people who take this so seriously. It's dangerous and unnecessary. We simply have windscreen logos without rockers. The name and location of the RC are straight for a reason too. The research has been done and the appropriate changes were made prior to showing ANYTHING in public. You never know. To see what I am talking about, go to roughcompany.com we are all cops, military, emt's, fire, etc.

Good luck with whatever you do.

My old man was a Marine and I was regular Army, I know the training and disipline these guys have. I pulled a lot of CP in my day and you've never broken up a bar fight until you try to break these guys up, they are finished when they are finished. So unless you have a newspaper article or some other way to back up your post, I say BS.
CP, eh? Why? Did you **** of your CSM?

Seriously, though.......Marines and soldiers of the right job/MOS could be very well trained. I was 11 series and went to some pretty good schools, served in some high-speed units, and worked some with SF (wasn't 18 series). I was able to see what the real badasses were like (I was just a "disposable hero" )

You would have to be a crazy SOB, as in mentally deficient, to use any of that training on civilians. You just don't. And you wouldn't put yourself in a position to need to. If you really have that kind of hua training, your unit is all you want or need. Guys in "group" keep to themselves.

But, the overwhelming majority of Marines and soldiers are not as badazz as they would have you believe. They're support personnel (it takes 9 to support 1 combat soldier). Sure, they're disciplined, fit, and can probably do well with a rifle in a controlled setting (like getting qual-ed on their M16/M4), but they're not SEALs or SF/Delta. Young Marines and soldiers have no business trying to play full-patch MC.

Wrong answer.

And they'd get their butts handed to them by old fat dudes who fight dirty because no one else does.

You make a good point Faber because you don't live in that world and you sure don't want to "dance" in that same world for there is no "fair fight" nor are there any "dirty" rules for doing such...You stay out of the way or you regret it...When you see them them you best move along because you are dealing with something beyond your comprehension...

I stayed away from it because it is a sure path to 2-realities....Death or Instutution....I was lucky enough to learn from the right folks at the right time long before I got my drivers license....I have an admiration and a loathing for that life...I chose to go away from it!!! Had I made a different decision I certainly wouldn't be here posting about it!!!!

I say wear it if you want. You want to argue about it, you ride a BMW (bright yellow) So these 1% will want to drop their colors and just kiss your ***.
Take it for what is worth, I seen a guy jump out of his car, stick a knife to my buddies throat at a red light because he was wearing a jean vest with no sleeves. no patches, nothing but a vest. and we do not live where the 1% make themselves known much either. they are around, you can bet on it.

imho make up the patch.. ride with it on your yellow BMW And see what happens... That is the only way you can tell. There is a lot of speculation about getting your *** kicked bout it but............ the true test would be to go ahead and make up the patch and see what happens..... either another club will take offense and tell you to remove the patch, or they won't and you will be ok.
