when a M/C appoaches you and says take the vest off or here is a box cutter, cut em off.......in front of your family....dont act surprised....poke fun at them....go for it...

I have been considering having a custom three piece patch set made with tongue in cheek humor in mind.
Top rocker: COMMUTER
Center Patch: Custom Artwork of guy on a MC holding an umbrella
Bottom Rocker: Either Beall Street (My street of course) or LENOIR (My town).
I would then attach this to my yellow high viz vest. Maybe a front patch saying: The other 1%
It would match my no pickle stickered bright yellow bike perfectly.

By NO means should you count on that!!! There are areas that this would make you an even bigger target.. I tell my patches all the time.. You wanna go into that 1% club house and preach Jesus to em?? go right ahead.. But you better make darn sure the Lord told ya to do it.. If not, yer gonna be meetin him in a matter of minutes..

Correct me if I'm wrong but the last time I checked we were living in the USA. You can't wear this or that, someone might be offended. Some of the people in these clubs claim to be veterans who fought for the country's freedom yet one has to ''ask permission'' to wear a particular type of patch. Do these people set the standards on what the citizens of this country can and cannot do? This is ''our'' territory. WTF If this crap is true, then we are in a sad state of affairs in the USA. What happened to freedom?

I call BS on that stupid statement thinking that JUST because a marine has training that 1%ers will back off?...where the F&%K do you think alot of well trained bretheren go to....there are PLENTY of ex marines, Special forces, ex paratoopers in the 1%er world....I dont care if it is an Marine MC....go push your luck into where you dont belong and they will check you...
After 30 some odd years of riding, I use the same caution with outlaw MCs as I do with wild animals, I appreciate that they represet ultimate freedom, most look like they would be cool to hang with, and all have the potential to be deadly if messed with.
That said I am calling BS on this post. While a patched outlaw biker may be a crazy, badazz, a patched Marine biker is a crazy, WELL TRAINED, bad azz. And the USMC does not allow intimidation of their members, ever. I don't see any MC trying to take on the Marines, and if you think the outlaw MCs run in packs and cover each other's backs, you have no clue about the USMC.
My old man was a Marine and I was regular Army, I know the training and disipline these guys have. I pulled a lot of CP in my day and you've never broken up a bar fight until you try to break these guys up, they are finished when they are finished. So unless you have a newspaper article or some other way to back up your post, I say BS.
Oh and to the original poster, let it go, it is NOT worth the potential hassle.

Help me understand why this would even be an issue. I have read numerous threads on this site which made reference to the M/C clubs as great people, with no ill interest and they were not Gangs. If they were to do such a thing, wouldn't that fall in line with the street gangs and turf war type stuff?

i don't know man....seems to me alot a ppl on here are just bein bitches, i think its funny, and if someone can't see that you are makin fun of yrself and they tell you to take it off or turn it inside out......i'm sure you would do it so again...where is the problem???
