Fingerless Gloves Question

Not that I really care, but I just don't get the fingerless glove hate. They provide a better grip than no gloves at all and still allow the use of your fingers. What's wrong with that? Is it just because some posers wear them even while they're not riding to try and look cool? Because I could understand if that was driving the hate. Otherwise, I'm at a loss...

My wife thinks fingerless gloves look sexy on me. As long as she feels that way, I will wear them. Her opinion means more to me than any fashion police.

But, since you brought it up, I bet there are a lot of folks out there who have worn nothing but chaps at on time or another, maybe they just won't admit it.
