I don't like any gloves when it gets hot. I also don't like the half moon tan line on the back of my hand that I get from them. It makes some people think I'm a golfer. I just where fingerless gloves on a cool morning ride.
Do the HD fashion police have badges? Or maybe they "don't need no stinkin' badges."

But, since you brought it up, I bet there are a lot of folks out there who have worn nothing but chaps at one time or another, maybe they just won't admit it.
I did... and she liked it
But how did this get from fingerless gloves to chaps so fast?
I have a pair of them and she likes that too!!!
Where's the problem???
what ever works for you are we in grade school, fingerless gloves give you the grip without confinement of the finger part, i always take mine off when i stop and chaps keep you warm when the weather is cool (and it all feels cool does'nt it), i know a lot of riders who just have a sense of saftey if they were to ever do down with all the leather.
remember it's none of your business what other people think
GUYS! I've got the answer! I'm on my way to the leather shop to custom make a pair of gloves with removable fingers. Little zippers around each finger so the ends can be removed, allowing the rider to choose fingered or fingerless. As soon as I get a pair done, I will start taking orders for them her on the forum, the question is, should I include the HDF logo? While I'm there I'll also ask about the posibility of a zippered azz panel for those azzless chaps out there to satisfy the rest of the fashion police.
Consider using velcro and I am in line for gloves and chaps. Maybe you could do both zippers and velcro. Also maybe a vest with removable sleeves?
If you go to get on your scoot and look at yourself and think, "I better not wear that because someone might say something to me". I have earned my broken wings a long time ago and I was glad that I had on my figerless gloves and chaps. I would be willing to bet that just about everyone on this forum owns or has worn fingerless gloves and chaps but just dont want to admit it because someone said it was gay. There is only one piece of gear that I own that I think about when I get on the scoot to ride and that all depends on where Im going because of territory respect. I have worn figerless gloves and chaps for years and have been around alot of "Bikers", not RUBS, and no one has ever said nothing to me. I hate to see where these threads go when people have nothing to do.
Just my 2 cents worth.
