Damn thats interesting Those that don't wave at anyone and those that only wave at Harley riders is exactly the same. Maybe someone should remove head from ***
A friend got me to thinking about the subject of the bikers wave last night. I was at his house sipping on a couple of tall chilly ones when he brought up the subject. He has never ridden a motorcycle.
Here is how he put it: The best people you will ever meet live here in Louisiana until they get behind the wheel of a car. It is like instant red *** once they turn on the ignition. I notice when I am driving and two bikes pass each other, they do like a secret wave. It is real cool to see that from behind the windshield. These bikers are not mad, or in any special hurry and seem to be very civil. It is like a brotherhood or an understanding between 2 strangers with something in common that any one else who doesn’t ride will never understand. He told me the only wave he gets from behind the wheel is being flipped off for driving too slow by some soccer mom.
I told him there is no secret to the wave, it is just two strangers with a common interest saying hello and ride safe to each other. I think he understood.
