Sometimes I wave, sometimes I don't. It's a nice custom. JEEPs do it as well as Corvettes. So if you own a Harley, a JEEP and A Vette you will get awefully tired waving!!
Well, I've seen recent threads started about guys with 7-speed trannys doing wheelies, and another about how to wear a "biker vest" so I figured, What the Heck.....

Yeah, I wave at all times. Some ditto'ed, Others didn't...so what ?.
Have a Corvette myself and I do wave at other Corvette Enthusiasts. Again, Some ditto'ed, Others didn't...so what ?.
There are so many bikes in town that if I would want to wave I might as well just keep waving and not stop.
I do wave when I am out of town though.

I have been riding for many years and generally wave to everyone (OK, not to crotch rockets because I generally despise them) but to all Cruiser riders on any brand, not just HD. Many guys on Gold Wings, Honda's you name it gladly wave too and usually they do it first. I think there is possibly a segment of HD guys who don't believe in it or only wave to other HD riders and maybe my new HD Road Glide doesn't look like the stereotypical Harley coming at them with the "shark nose" fairing and double headlight?
Anyway, I just wanted to throw this topic out to see what others here think?

It's the ugly shark-nose, maybe try a batwing bike.

In my own opinion I think a lot of people have stopped waving or new riders (which there are a lot of) chose not to wave. I been riding and waving for 20 years. Every year it seems more and more don't wave. Its kind of embarrassing when you don't get a wave back. Kinda like saying I love you and getting no reply. Sometimes I wait to see if the other guy is going to wave to me now before I attempt one. Whatever though really. I own a Corvette and we all wave to each other. I have a Ford truck and none of us wave at each other. I guess it doesn't really matter.
