Very real!
It's actually a documentary film about the club in California.
Search the internet, they are taking applications for new prospects since they lost one last season.

it's entertaining, if anything.

I wanna see how they are gonna bring Jemma back in.......on the lamb from the ATF, with a dying, dope smokin Chief of Police.....

I think most of the 1% clubs have a ride along program similar to what law enforcement units have. Next time you see some on the road join up with them and they'll let you tag along.

about the same as The Shield represents real police and Rescue Me represents real firefighters. They're all cut from the same bolt of cloth.
