Good advice, Ultra Street Jewell. Now, where can Certainteed find all of this old stuff?
It was all designed to express the results of an attitude and how I insulate myself from the elements, kind of like the way I live and how everything and everyone is old now.

Search the web......
Just to clarify, I was only kidding. I guess I should have used a smilie. I hate smilies.
I picked up a new brown Hein Gericke bomber jacket off ebay for $120. It's a great riding jacket and warm enough until you get in extreme cold weather.
Old School.......... Men's Brown Premium Buffalo Distressed Leather Classic Biker Jackets,
and it has a liner.......
while i like the jacket, the OP didn't want a "biker jacket" and that is pretty much "the biker jacket" a copy of the Schott 118...
i can't stand the jackets where the collars rides up to my throat so i prefer this style of jacket (although sometimes i wear my schott all the way zipped if it's cold.).
Leather even lined is probably the worst choice in cool or cold weather. Leather is for warmer weather, looks and protection only. I have a parka from LLbean thats rated to -40F and only weighs a couple pounds thats wind proof. You really don't need a jacket with a built in heater. I remember going 80 mph on an old Arctic Cat sled at temperatures near zero and not getting cold at all in snowmobile gear. I think when the average temperature drops below 50 that i'll park it and get the 4 x 4 out. Have to wait and see what my cold tolerance is this year
