Its simple for me. Nod to fellow bikers, Wave to the kids. 90% of my exp. with waving is for kids. I remember being a kid doing back flips when i seen a Harley coming down the road. So imo if you are to big of a badass to wave to some kids you're prolly on a Honda.
That is a good write up on the basics but needs more pictures or diagrams. If they write a follow up on advanced techniques and special situations (eg the Hi grandma wave to Goldwings and the princess wave to anyone on a purple bike.) I'd be interested in reading it.
