A guy I know built one out of an old Honda CB 350 that somebody gave him. Came out pretty good. if I wanted an import-motor bobber, I'd probably find an old Honda.

Some of those motors actually aren't bad as they are Chinese build copies of several Jap manufactures. Probably one of the best examples is the Honda XR50/Pitbike world. The patent/copyrights expired so other companies pretty much reverse engineered the whole thing. So basically Honda parts can mount right up to the Chinese knock offs and vice versa.
