1. The lady from hell needs to get laid.
2. Check the code for speedbump height, width, etc. I had the owners of the property I live on change them out when they tore my vette front scoop all to hell. I could not get over or around them and they were way too high and wide.
3. The lady from hell needs to get laid. (again)

Getting very hard not to nowadays, if you want to live in the burbs. Agree w/all HOA comments too...seems like most board members are in it for themselves ("dick"tators) and not in the best interest of subdivision populous. Been trying to overturn "no storage shed" rule in our covenants so I can get some stuff out of garage. Now, so you know, the shed clause would be to amend & allow "professional" structure built to certain specs (i.e. same as house...wood trim/no metal, painted, etc.). Turns into a 2-hr argument every year...I'm never going to get my shed...

HOA's...can be good, can be bad for some people

First...I do chuckle at how some people complain about HOA rules AFTER they freaking purchase their house in an association. Your real estate agent gave you a big stack of papers..one of those was the HOA rules 'n regs. It is your responsibility to read that, and understand that, at the time you make you put your deposit down on the property you intend to purchase. That process is you agreeing to things. Your word was given right there.

A couple of HOA threads came up on these boards over the past few weeks. I shaking my head at some of the responses....people saying "screw the rules, don't want big brother telling me what to do". No...I don't look at it that way. You, as the buyer, took on the burden of understanding the rules..and you gave your word to abide by those rules. It's the equivalent of a handshake. Is your word that weak? Or is your word that worthless? A man is a good as his word, to me.

Now back to the OPs post.....
Yes the lady walking the dog needs to get laid, or someone needs to cram a "rabbit" vibrator up her with the switch on high for a while. And she probably doesn't pick up the rat dogs little turds.

Speedbumps...shouldn't matter, OP isn't going faster than posted speeds so it shouldn't matter that he's taking the bald spot in the middle to bypass them.

I happen to agree to "tread lightly" through your neighborhood, or "roll gently, roll quietly". I have Screaming Eagle II pipes on my bike...they're not stock cigar pipes that make it sound like a Honda, I keep her down as I leave my neighborhood. About 1 mile from me is a beach association that I'm desparately wanting to get a house in, it's an association, I know the rules, I'll have no problem with them. Slow traffic, low noise...those are good for the neighborhood to me.

The OP wears a badge if I recall prior threads, I'd think the association would value his presence there...he should carry a bit more clout because of that.

My OL sat on the HOA board in the complex where we have a townhouse ( now a rental ) she called me a few times to come stand in just have a large hairy mean looking presence in the corner so the monthly meeting wouldn't turn into a brawl , few times thought they would . Got her off the thing finally and she's better for it . HOA's can be good or bad depends the egos on the board and how much of a fight your willing to put up .

Ask the HOA to buy your property at value.

The HOA at my Mom's place told her she couldn't grow vegetables on her back deck. (she was growing tomatoes), which are NOT a vegetable. She fought it, showing that they are a FRUIT.

F-ing morons!!!!

I live on a regular old county road in a township. I have condos behind me that try to impose there rules on me and I have an 8 foot fence on my lot line. "I have too many parties, I have a dog, I run my snowblower too early in the morning".......whatever. I try to tell them its an unincorporated area. My dog and parties are quiet and I go to work in the morning even if it snows. I think I pissed them off when I gave them the sheriffs number and I told them I could call if they didn't want too. Do the Bruce Banner, "don't make me angry, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry", thing & you're gonna beat it with flyin' colors.
