I'm reading it right now. I've started reading it before but got bored with all the text. Maybe it would be better if we had RC on it?

And this will appease the 1% club that is 2 hours away? Is there a line of delineation for clubs in NV and UT? Right. Unless you want to go ask permission to form the club and have the 3PP. Then you will pay up and get called out to support. Like others on this thread have stated: Stick with the 1 pc patch with no "MC" on it.

Forget the 3PP. Given what you've posted, that's a pipe dream. Go to the site Kowan listed -http://www.rcvsmc.net/ . Read it all. Read it again. Read it one more time. Then think about why you believe you need to start yet another motorcycle club. Find the Utah Confederation of Clubs, go to a meeting or three. You say you want to do charity & promote motorcycles and the only way that will work is if you are respected in the MC world. That means earning the respect of other clubs, and it is a lot of hard work. Finally, understand that if you do your homework, get the nod from the dominant(s) of your area, and actually get off the ground, you'll have about a 1-in-10 chance of lasting past your first year.

Most important sentence follows: Frankly, starting a club to do charity & promote motorcycling is missing the point of a club to begin with. You don't need an MC to do that; you just do it.

Feel free to PM me thru this joint if you want further explanation of anything I wrote.

Just saw the "got bored" with doing the homework post. Too boring to learn what you need to do to earn your way into a world you know little to nothing about? That does not bode well for your endeavor.

Thanks for the info. I've been reading that site for the past 10 or so minutes. It's not that I got bored reading the info because believe me that doesn't happen when I'm reading things I'm looking for. I was just having a hard time finding what I was looking for on the website. Once I found it the info was great. Thanks again for giving me some direction on this and thanks for the invite for some personal guidance.

This absurd notion that you need permission is, well, absurd.

I say good for you. This is a free country. Ride safe.
I understand what you're saying, anyone has the right to wear what they want. Freedom being what it is. Just like the freedom of speech, is one of our freedoms. But just because I have the right to walk down the back streets of Harlem and yell the N word, doesn't mean it would be a good choice. Some common sense and self preservation has to come into play somewhere.

That being said, this has to be a newe record for length of time between new 3PP threads. Alot of new blood around to fuel this one up for the winter. So just to be redundant and get it in before someone else does......

I know, I know, But I couldn't resist.
