I really don't know why I let your type get to me but there's just something about you that irks the **** out of me.
You never owned a bike until your 30s (not a big deal) when you got your first bike, a little 600, dropped it and got too scared to ride for a few years. Then bought a brand new Harley in December 2009 and immediately got on here bitching about HD owners being too old and desperately wanting someone to ride with. Started posting all the mods you were having done to your bike by the dealership because you dont know how to do it yourself. Telling the price of everything you bought and freaking out when you lost your key fob. You bought your wife a BMW so now youre allowed to do whatever you want with your bike and talked about how your brown and black mixed seat goes great with my color scheme and your new heated grips. Youre one of those pansy *** software engineers that throws out terms like its only money when it comes to having work done on your bike. You bought a lil joes SOA imitation vest because of course I want to look like Jax (your words) and talk about watching SOA because its a release from reality and you get to fantasize about it, all this because youre a freaking poser of the worst kind. The kind that has to ask his wife to wipe his *** and gets all butt hurt that she doesnt want to ride with you and gets all excited that you rode 15 minutes in the rain. You spout **** like its a free country and Ill do what I want because its all about the ride (I liked when you got excited about your big 250 mile ride you had planned for the extra points for the HOG abcs of touring.) but you dont know **** about what it takes to be in real MC. Youre a keyboard commando that talks a lot of **** but wouldnt have the nuts to back it up from behind a computer. So sit there and fantasize about being like a real patch holder and keep posting on every MC, biker and poser related thread that pops up how you dont care about any of that and you dont give a damn about our traditions or respect, because while youre dreaming and fanaticizing, wishing you could live my lifestyle, you never will because you dont have what it takes. Go ahead and post your reply about how you don't want my life, because yours is so great (mine is too) and you got a wife and kids (I do too) and you make good money (I do too) and you don't respect MC's and real bikers are all trashy (your words from another thread), doesn't change the fact that you will always want to be something you'll never have the ***** to be. You damn poser. Rant over.
Thank you, Thank you..
To give you a little background, one of my best friends called me last week inquiring about the process to get PGR participation for a funeral.
He told me his brother was dying, and like a total dumbass, I said "who?",because I was really concerned. He said "my brother". Well the only people he ever really talked about were his club brothers. Imagine my embarassment when I finally figured out it was his biological brother.
Commitment runs very deep in the 1% brotherhood and most "enthusiasts" don't or will ever understand.

Patch design and color are taken very personal by MCs and some MCs have been known to travel great distance to pull colors. If you just throw some patches on with a MC Cube and rockers you will be opening yourself up for a challenge.
Now on to the reason why a MC? Being in an MC isnt just about riding, it is about brotherhood that sometimes is stronger than blood. What is mine, is my Brothers also. A Brother needs something, we will stand up and provide, read that however you want.
Good luck with your quest.
Good post. If you really want something like a 3pp, consider a two piece. Top rocker & center patch, without a territory rocker. Also, make the "MC" cube an "RC" cube. It sounds like you & your friends are just shooing for a riding club, not a MC. I applaud your reasons but wonder why you want to insist on a three piece patch aside from how it looks. If you really want to ride together & help your community, just start a riding club.

Well said. A woman with good looks AND brains! Dangerous!

Wow!!!! Are you just being coy? Not trying to be a smartazz, just maybe I have a different social circle than you have. Everyone who stood the flagline for one of our "True American Heros" saw the patches.
BTW - not all 1% & 3 pc patch clubs do illegal ****. It's more of a state of mind - FTW. On the flip side, I'm sure there's some "Christian" clubs who have a devil in the church.
However, Outlaw clubs are another animal.
There's a distinction.
Wait a sec BP. I just re read that and now I feel like a dumbass. I was under the impression that 1%er = outlaw. What is the distinction?

1% is statement to the world. A state of mind. Non-conformity if you will... Doesn't necessarily mean there's illegal activity involved. It's a FTW attitude.
So a 3 pc patch and/or 1% club doesn't always equal criminal activity.
However, an Outlaw club is just that.
If SOA was real (I know, I know, it's not, I couldn't believe it either - lol) they would be considered an Outlaw club, not a 3 pc or 1%.
