Well, first I'd have to take about 20 days explaining that if I type something in here someone else can see and reply to it. And carrier pigeons and or the mail had nothing to do with it. Then after repatedly calling me a witch or wizard whatever the male is in that world. He'd probably have to drink a few pints of dark beer, chase it with Irish whiskey, curse a bit and start asking me why I was doing this instead of riding.
Then I'd have to explain that I am at work and since I spend 14-16 hours a day here I fill it up with "chatting"
After I said that he call me a girl and say something about how only women "chat" then he'd tell me to go get a stick and since he was too old to do it I should commence hitting myself about the head and neck until and ambulance arrived.
Still waiting for that definition of a "Real Biker". It's all about the man and not the bike is not descriptive enough. Come on folks, lets see a list of attributes. If you can't put it in writing then it doesn't exist.
Dictionary.com says...
1. a person who rides a bicycle, motorcycle, or motorbike, especially in competition or as a hobby.
2. Informal. a member of a motorcycle gang.
Already did , that's the conclusions from a lifetime living and watching this . To understand why I say that you need to have a little background on me . This isn't something I've played with or just discovered it's been my life since I left home at 17 and I was drawn to it before then . My whole world was my bike so I've been around or in the thick of the people who also lived this including hardcore club life , I lived on the damned thing for 20 plus years it wasn't a weekend hobby or infatuation it was and still is my lifestyle . I've backed off the last few years a lot . I don't like the way the things have been going for years or a lot of the new breed the last 20 yrs thinking they are what it's about . That gives you a completely different view of the people and the whole image of bikes , events and the people on them that the average guy won't or doesn't want to understand .
That life's worth of experience is why I believe and will say it's about the man and who he is and what he's about not all the bullshit stereo types and images everyone else tries so hard to define it as .
Motorcycle OWNERS are scared of the wind, rain, too hot or too cold days. Owners refuse to be uncomfortable. Owners ride less than 10,000 miles per year. Owners give excuses why they don't maintain or alter their bikes themselves. Owners haul their bikes within 100 miles or less of rallies, unload, then ride into the rallies while their wives/girlfriends drive the haulers behind them.
Bikers' last thought is comfort. For them it is the feeling of freedom that makes "it" all worthwhile. Bikers carry tools with them because they taught themselves how to use them. Bikers sacrifice. Bikers buy a garage with a house included, not the other way around. Bikers have the INTERNET to learn more about their machines and to have a laugh about a newbie's lack of knowledge. Yes, bikers admit they were "new" in the beginning. Bikers hold the door open for ladies and say please and thank you. Bikers like myself yearn for the "old days". That would be the 70's for me. Bikers don't always get along with the general public because they are so passionate about their beliefs, they sometimes can't just shut-up and "go along". Anyway, that's this biker's opinion. But, who gives a **** anyway, right?

Wish life could be described in such simple terms but we both know it can't nor ever will be .

A "real biker" is a Hollywood movie myth. A 1%er, and or a clubber is all about the club. Yep.... It's all about the club, not the bike. Although, we ride most all the time, it's all about the club. Most folks think a "real biker" is a 1%er, or a clubber. That's not necessarily true.
I'm just like any other guy, wondering around this planet. Mess with my family, I'll kill you. Mess with my club, I'll kill you. Get it??
