There's good people out there who do believe and live it as it was but the shear numbers of wannabe's and all the second , third and forth tier clubs have watered it down to almost gone .

So do you or anyone else have a short list of what a REAL biker is?

I see this asked a lot but it never has been answered in a straight forward fashion and usually gets in to the well a biker isn't this or that.

So can someone PLEASE list what a REAL BIKER IS PLEASE!!

There is no Wikipedia pat definition , your either are or not . In this zoo it's easier to describe what isn't we have so many glaring examples to work with . Bikers come in all shapes , sizes , socioeconomic levels from CEO's to gutter trash and what make bike you have doesn't mean dick I've known some on mopeds , buying and riding a harely doesn't automatically make you one as most seriously want to believe happens .

Best I can tell you it's something you have in your personality , the way you look at life , how you've gone through life , what a guy does , ect. . It's a culmination of things that shapes someone from what I've seen , you either where born to walk that path or you weren't and nothing including all the money and tantrums is gonna change the latter .

Biker is about the man not the bike nor the clothes or the perceived stereotype image everyone thinks or wish's it is .

Yeah brevity is definitely not my strong suit. After being on forums for awhile and having people totally misconstrue what others are saying I feel like I have to cover all points all the time.

My sincerest apologies. I'll see if I can clean it up

Ok cool I think I agree with that.

I do wonder though if REAL bikers spend much time worrying about who is and who isn't a biker. I don't think so as to me it embodies being a bit carefree and fully in to freedom and not just for yourself but for others.

I just can't imagine a real biker giving a ****. I feel my gramps was a real biker. I can't see him caring.

Just don't confuse "laughing at" with caring. I'm sure your gramps would find this crap intertaining.

Won't say I wasn't going there but since you did

Come on Rigid , don't you attempt to enlighten people once in a while you know damn well don't have a clue what they are talking about in fields you have been dealing with most of your life and are very familial with ?

Well, first I'd have to take about 20 days explaining that if I type something in here someone else can see and reply to it. And carrier pigeons and or the mail had nothing to do with it. Then after repatedly calling me a witch or wizard whatever the male is in that world. He'd probably have to drink a few pints of dark beer, chase it with Irish whiskey, curse a bit and start asking me why I was doing this instead of riding.

Then I'd have to explain that I am at work and since I spend 14-16 hours a day here I fill it up with "chatting"

After I said that he call me a girl and say something about how only women "chat" then he'd tell me to go get a stick and since he was too old to do it I should commence hitting myself about the head and neck until and ambulance arrived.

So yeah he'd find this entertaining.
