well i just posted on another thread about a phone mount , im sure this would also work for your camera if it wasnt a heavy one
maybe use 2 brackets like i have the photo posted for heavier gizmos

this works awsome on my bars for my go pro , phone, or anyother lil gizmo

maybe mount the camera to your highway bars ? or mount to the luggage rack ? or if installed the rear saddle bag guards ?
im just guessin here but hey at least you see how easy it would be to make one for CHEAP lolol

i made mine on the cheap !!! hahaha

goto your garage break out yours or wifes or kids bicycle

remove the reflector mount from the sucker

get another case for phone
mount to the handlebar reflector mount
and whamo --- phone mount on the cheap !
also works with my go pro to mount on handlebars

I ride an ultra and have a go pro camera mounted to handle bars using Ram mount products. The base is mounted to bottom the left side mirror then a 6" arm gets it above the fairing. Works great as long as your moving, too much vibration if just sitting at idle.

Default Motorcycle Camera Mount

I wrote a series of blog posts about mounting camera on a motorcycle, which became a page of free tips here: http://www.leadermotorcycle.com/camera.html

We designed a camera mount because a) we hated the helmet cams and b) all the others were so gosh-darn ugly. All our stuff is high-end, top-quality stuff. You can mount on your switch housing to get around the faring. Here's a link: http://www.leadermotorcycle.com/CTGY/cameras.html

As for camera, any camera that has the tripod stud (1/4-20 stud) will work on these. I use a little FLIP. Pic attached...
