This weekend I was out running one of the local county roads that is in fairly good repair with a good share of twisties. About half way through the ride I came around one of the corners and just as I was exiting the corner spread all across the road was a whole lot of fresh fertilizer. It looked like the farmer either accidentally hit the sprayer or had a major spill and unfortunately when I say fresh, I mean still liquid and all sorts of stink nasty. Luckily not much of it got on me, but the entire under side of my bike was coated with it.
It didn't matter how fast I was going I could still smell the stench. First town I came to I stopped at the car wash and hosed the bike down. For the entire rest of the ride I could still catch a wiff now and again, but that was from the small spots that ended up on my boots and jeans.
What's the worst bit of nastiness any of you have ended up riding through?
Was flying as crew chief on CH-46 Cross country marine mission.
Pilot had to **** and **** tube wasn't working.
I gave him a empty mason jar.
He filled it up with **** and gave it back to me.
I opened the helos "hell hole" which was a trap door in the floor that marines would jump out of. I opened the jar and threw the **** liquid out the floor hole but it all blew back in all over me and under my helmet. We had a 2 hour ride in front of us.
That my friends was nasty.
