Not a micro-second of second thought.... Leason learned, and COMPLETELY UNDERSTOOD.
I'm completely responsible as well... wife didn't twist my arm, quite opposite actually. Didn't say anything 'bout the first bottle.
Waiter kept "fillin' us back up" with the second...she got on him 'cuz we were riding. "Don't worry sweety" my reply "It's just down the road..."
Won't never have that conversation again!!!!
Seen a public safety commercial a while back on drinkin' & drivin'...
Context was a college age girl leavin' a party after just a wee too much. Stumbled just a bit as she was gettin' those car keys out to leave.
If'n she'd been plastered, they'd of called the cab...
How much is too much? For me, ANY!
After the ride, when the bikes parked...I'm all in!!
Most folks on this forum are all "growed up" and make their decisions fer themselves... just hopin' that somebody who needs to see this does.
Saved Christian feller here. He saw me through that one, I'm positive.
On to other bidness....
Saw the xray of that stone.... 4.6mm !
Looks like a lill' feller, but it feels like it's bigger 'n the space shuttle.
Just sayin'
Thanks Crew

appears to be a classic overcompensated high side by your description and the skid marks. Ga girl is spot on, fresh soft burm... blessed indeed.
got you a true friend and brother in Paul!
4.6mm is a big stone, may need to be "zapped" to pass???
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Bad decision but price paid, don't beat yourself up to bad or it will stay in your head when you don't really need it there!
As you know me and Penny crashed back on the 10th, hadn't had anything to drink, straight road and around 1 PM on a beautiful Saturday, FREAKIN DEER.
Belevie me brother I was very proud of never having been down while riding street for 44 years now and as PoorBoy can atest I will twist a grip and lay her over to sharpen the floorboards! That record is shot to Hell and trust me as I sit here having trouble breathing with fractured ribs and stitches sticking out of my elbow and my leg aching, not to mention hearing my wife laying in bed moaning just from rolling over (and not what she should be moaning from) I do know how you feel.
Fortunately we were riding with friends and there was someone there to help, I keep thinking about the ride to Hiawassee that Wednesday night up 129 then 75 Alt and then 17 to 76 in the pitch black by ourselves. Could have had the same crash then and might not have been so lucky or even been found.
Problem is that we get to this age and experience level and something like this happens and we beat ourself up thinking we should know better (and we do we just choose to ignore our own knowledge), real bitch is that once ya stop learning life lessons then somebody is about to close the lid on the box and drop your *** in a hole!
Glad you both are still here to continue school brother!!
Once both our scoots are fixed Penny and I look forward to meeting you both and riding off like nothing happened (I'll be the one groaning in pain as we take off
, ribs don't heal like they used to).Now go get somebody to blast that stone with ultrasound and quit suffering!
