Note that the article said that they would be doing the stops on I-95. Much higher percentage of out of state bikers who, if they do get a ticket, are unlikely to come back to Georgia to fight such ticket.
Sounds like a way to get some easy money.
Where I live, I wish theyu would start profiling the many illegals driving POS vehicles with no insurance. Oh sh**. My state rep might think that is racial profiling and he doesn't want to **** off all his constituents.
This is one of those times I am ashamed to say I have lived in Georgia all my life. Singling out bikers is just another crock of **** revenue maker for this state, just as the Super-Speeder law is.
Me and my bike, or me and any of my other vehicles are legal to the fullest extent of the law. What pisses me off is I see, on a daily basis, people driving POS vehicles all over the place around here. Bald tires, parts falling off, brake lights or turn signals don't work, leaking oil all over the road... WTF? Why can't they pull those bastards over? Don't even get me started on the damn idiots yapping on a cell phone and driving!
How about the dumb asses around where I live that pull a trailer loaded with a 10k# + tractor and a 1/2 ton pickup doing the pulling. No brakes, lights or safety chains on the trailer. Truck bumper almost dragging the ground...
Sorry for the rant, **** like this burns me up!
Lilman
Or the LEOs' themselves, those that make lane movements and turns w/ no signal, or talk on their cell phone while driving. or use their lights and siren to get thru a redlight only to end up at a restaurant for lunch w/ their honey, (seen that one myself because I followed him). Long list of abuses by those who should set the example.
They can harass motorcycle riders but if some official asks for a green card or if some muslum gets questioned before getting on a plane, the ACLU has a **** fit!!!!!

Oh yes!!!!!! I could rant for hours on them in this part of the country. Especially the county Deputy's.....

I wonder what would happen if say 20,000 bikers showed up all at once and rendered the interstate useless. Especially if there were news cameras there to show how bad traffic backup would be, as well as, the county endangering all motorist by bringing traffic to a stop.
