Soundstream 4.520D Shutting Down
I've been fooling around with the stereo on my bike since I got it. I've had 4 Polk MM651 speakers installed for quite some time now and have been running them with two old Kicker 40SS amps that I had laying around. Just recently I swapped out the two Kickers for a Soundstream 4.520D mounted in the fairing, spaced up 1/4" above the radio. It sounds great. Its loud and clear, everything I was expecting based on the reviews I've read here.
One problem. I went on a 600 mile three day trip last week and my tunes cut out on me twice. They kicked back in after 10 minutes or so which leads me to believe that the amp is overheating and shutting down.
Anyone else have this experience with the Soundstream setup? Any help would be appreciated.
