The bike is a 2014 SG. 103HO. Before delivery I had stage 1 done with SE Street cannons installed. Put 200 miles on bike and then added true dual head pipes. The new pipes made a big difference. After 522 miles, I am still wanting more. I was looking into the SE stage 4 kit (street) but originally was looking at the pro stage 3 kit. I'm not sure the stage 4 or 3 are worth the cash. 3500 just to do the 4 and 2500 to do the 3 kit. That's a lot of coin when I have read some low hp/tq numbers from the stage 4 kit.
Before anyone ask why more power. I rode my uncles 2008 cvo for a day. Just before I took delivery of my new bike.
I have read just a good cam swap can get my numbers above 100/100. Along with a good tuner and current addons.
Any recommendations on using these kits or using aftermarket stuff
With only 522 miles you might want to give the bike a chance to break in and loosen up a bit before you take another leap. My impression is that my Limited is running better at 3500 miles than 500. Will give you a chance to do some more research so that ultimately you'll feel better about what ever decision you make. IMHO !
You're not gonna top out @ 100/100 or more with out some head work to go along with the "Stage" kits. It'll be a big improvement over stock and what you're describing about just swapping cams etc. is commonly referred to as a "Stage II" upgrade.
For the price of stage 3 and 4 kits why not look into somethin like fuel moto 107". Less money and more power. Only reason to go with stage 3 or 4 is if you want to retain full factory warranty. The fm 107" is on my to do list but im waitin for my warranty to run out or at least to get close to the end of it.
The stage 3 kit is 10.5 pistons, 259e cams, springs, pushrods, clutch spring, tb and pro tuner. But the dyno chart is ugly. The stage 4 is same kit just with factory cnc heads.
I was looking at that fuel motor kit. That 107 is tempting. But there goes warranty.

Warranty is the same reason im holdin out right now. I bought the extended warranty on my 2012 but theres no way im waitin that long to go to a 107. Another ridin season and i may take the jump for a 107. Lesson learned save money dont get the esp lol
