Also seeing how the OP's bike is a '13 CVO Ultra, it is very close to my '12 CVO Ultra. He WILL need to get new brake and clutch lines. There is no way to make them fit by being creative. With my 10" MBB, the stock lines BARELY made it.
I wanted to get some 14 inch apes on my 13 CVO ultra, so I went to local dealer today to get a price. Turns out they say that it can be done, but 95% of all bars do not accommodate the OEM heated grips that came on my bike. I do not want to do away with them, theyre very useful. So, anyone here put apes on their CVO ultra??? They told me 9 hrs minimum if I find bars that will work. Thats around $800 labor minimum. Not sure I want them that bad.
I've done a few bar swaps and honestly 9 hours labor is not out of line. I installed some Yaffe bars on my Street Glide over a 2 day period and I'm sure I had more than 9 hours of labor in the job. I'm sure the pros can do it faster but it's still a big job. If I had to pay someone to do it I probably wouldn't have it done.
So I like the 12 Yaffe Monkey bars, will they work with hydraulic clutch and oem heated grips? They are searching for that style that will work with what I have. Those vindiktas are nice too. I really don't care what the brand is, I have a particular style in mind
they said they talked to someone at Yaffe and they agreed that some grinding needs to be done to accommodate, then have them re chromed. I have never had this much difficulty getting something done. This is the 3rd place that comes up with a bunch of extra crap!!!

Contact Yaffe yourself, they will tell you the bars will work. I am running Yaffe's on mine with hydraulic clutch and heated grips. They will work just fine.

I have Wild 1s 12 and 1/2 on my 2014 Ultra Limited. If you look on their website they say you may have to cut 3/8 of an inch off the left side bar, however mine didnt require it. I am using my OEM heated grips. I did replace both the clutch and brake lines only becuase I wanted the chromite lines. Total cost installed by my HD dealer was $1190. I was going to do it myself, but have heard horror stories on bleading the abs so erred on the cautous side.
