Default Personalized Plates

I just received my first Harley, an 07 Heritage Classic. I am considering personalizing the plate. Any ideas out there or is this just not a cool thing for a Harley owner? Also, how do I display pictures on my post, I would like to share the un-crating ceremony.

1. Get an account on http://bigbikeriders.com/picrules.htm or www.Photobucket.com be patient for the "Approval" e-mail to activate your account.

2. Make sure your picture to be uploaded is smaller than 150kb. There is a free photo editor on the BBR sign-up page to help size the pics

3. Upload the picture

4. Left click ON the picture you want to post. This makes that picture bigger or smaller. Once you find the size you want to post;

5. Right click on the picture and select "Properties"

6. Now highlight the "Address/url" lines that have the ".JPG" suffix

7. Right click on the highlighted address and select "Copy"

8. Now onHDforums in a post box, hit the"ADD IMAGE"buttonthat is yellow all the way to the right and just above the post boxPlace the cursor next to the "http://" box that pops up and right click and select "Paste" This will add the address.

9. After the address is entered, click "OK"

10. Now hit the "Preview" button as this will show you what the post will look like on the board. If you don't see your pic, no one will. You have something wrong.

If you want to get a personalized, then go for it. I see personalized plates on a lot of bikes. I have "CLA$$IC" on mine!

BTW, CONGRATULATIONS on your new ride!!!

If a custom platemakes you happy, get one. Life's too short to worry about what others thinkabout trivial things...here's mine

Congrats on the new scoot, personalized plates are just that, personal. No differentthan adding a specific chrome part to your bike,I think it adds a nice touch.

do it...it makes the bike even more personal.
my plate is HARDY...an old nickname. Plus allows for some interesting conversation explaining what your plate represents.

Thanks guys, your right life is too short. I thought of the usual like FLSTC but I am really considering HOG RYD. Will give it more thought. Open for suggestions or ideas.

I agree, Life is too short to care what others think about what you do.

My tag is a Virginia Fight Terrorism Tag and reads "MEKUN"

Read it backwards!!!

Congrats on the new bike and Ride Safe!!!!!!!!!!!
