I would try contact cleaner first. I use radio shack contact cleaner with oil in it. Must sit over night after spraying to let the oil dry in electric components.
I use my cc so much I never turn it off. Living on a mountain with no red lights and very few stop signs on the main roads I use my cc very often.

cc idiot light fixed
ok I was just living with this problem then I installed a sound system on my rk which intailed me to disconnect the battery , after I hooked the battery back up, the light went out on now comes on when its supposed to ty all for your help
