My air shocks were leaking and I bought a used set of the lower ones, and the did not come with the rubber boots. I didn't think it was a big deal and I would just put the set on from my old shocks. When I was removing them I put a small tear on the boot. (Plus the old boots are a bit longer than needed)
Lookers up on the parts fische and it doesn't appear that they have a part number for them. Does anybody know if these are available either from harley or aftermarket?
I would get to autozone (etc.) and look for a "speedyboot" CV joint cover kit.
These are a rubber boot which is open on 1 side, so that it can be wrapped around an auto FWD CV joint and then secured with hose clamps ( CV joints need be protected from dust).
these are cheap, easy and in a variety of sizes and shapes.
