Now starter will not turn it over. With plugs removed turns fine. I know the heads were ported and have 1.75 intake valves.
I do not know what kind of cams are it in. It does not have compression releases.
Suggestions please. I've had the primary of too nay times and tried the short side (clip ring" both ways to no avail.
Further help is greatly appreciated from you wrenchers and top-notch builders out there.
I don't know if there is just too much compression to turn it over. It turn my 95" with 101hp and 211's with compression quite fine.

Need more details but I would bet on compression releases (or the lack thereof...)...Can't imagine building a motor with any type of compression without the releases. They are too cheap to leave out...
Engine turns with no plugs in. Put one plug in and starter pops into engagement and then starts clicking. Battery reading 13.3 volts. When I hit the starter button the battery voltage drops to 9.4 volts.

Hook another battery up and see if it helps, you may have to buy one. The local starter alternator rebuild shop should be able to help you out with a starter with more torque than the stock one for more than a few dollars less than the advertised high torque starters for harleys.
George from Georgia?! Another vote for the battery being down on performance. By all means check yours. If it fails or is down on power, replace with a top shelf AGM battery, which can be bought with higher CCA than the stock one. Hopefully that will do it!
