Speaking of SurDyke, here is a story. I was once told by Red Rock Harley here in Vegas that they would price match, all I had to do was ask.
After that, Red Rock Harley changed a bunch of people and managers, and I was looking for a part. I looked at Surdyke, and found it way cheaper than Red Rock. I called and asked about the price matching thing like I was told once, and they said they would NOT match Surdyke, because it was an internet sales place, not a brick and mortar store. I explained what I was told, and they guy on the phone with me became very irritated, and said he would not match their prices, as they are not a brick and mortar store, and they dont have to pay Nevada taxes like he did.
I can understand where he is coming from as far as the taxes and all if this is true, and Harley said the part was worth this much money, and that was what they charge, but to get so irritated at me on the phone just for asking the question wasnt called for, and it makes me feel not very welcome there now.
I have done business with Surdyke, and have been very happy with them. Nice place to do business. Red Rock Harley, well they used to be, but Im wary now.
