Default Bank Angle Sensor

Hi,
I have a 99 Road King Classic. Can anyone tell me should the bike run with the Bank Angle Sensor removed.

i concur..
as with any sensor...it is a normally closed switch and when something happens the switch opens and does not allow the current to flow though it thus stopping the electrical system and shutting the bike down. You will (should) be able to remove the sensor and connect the wires together to make the bike think the switch is closed all the time.

ok, I could be wrong. will need to get my older manual out and try to confirm
But I don't think it is quite that simple.
If it has three wires going to it then no you probably can't.
Then it would be a computerized sensor.
Battery voltage on one, ground on the other and reference signal back to the ECm.
Service manual for that year will give the wiring diagram, but to would need the electrical
manual also.
but I can't confirm without the actual electrical diagnostice manual
