The HD valve stem hose comes with it's innards threaded in too far. Get a valve stem tool and turn the innards out about 3 turns and it will work like a champ.
Out of the package the innards will not compress the inside of the stem enough to allow air to enter the tire.
Mine sealed OK and seemed to work, but when I checked the air pressure in the rear tire, the gauge showed 40 lbs using the extension, but only showed 34 lbs not using it.

use the EZ air to check the pressure and fill with an air hose if needed.
you know if you roll the bike until the air valve is below 8 and 5 oclock you can find it with your hands instead of wallering on the ground to look at it to check.
Angled valve stems work good to. I have always used this, got mine at a station that closed in the 1970"s. The angled locking is all you may need. Just slide it on lock it and your done. You can add the rubber hose on most air chucks that screw off.
