Well I have not really measured out the WHOLE bike to see if wheel is 100%
centered to the whole thing front to back.
But the different size spacers in the rear are primarily to line up the sprockets
with the belt.
Easier and cheaper to do that than to build a wheel with the offset built into it.
Can you just imagine what the cost of THAT wheel would be in all the different
styles and configurations whether from HDMOCO or the aftermarket?
I noticed mine when I went to put my hitch on. Only had about 1/8" clearance to the tire. Pulled it off and called the dealer. I only have about 1/4" between the fender and the tire, says its normal due to balancing the bike. I worry about tire flex rubbing when riding 2 up. Told them I will keep an eye on it for rubbing and they will check it out at the 1000 mile service.
