I got some aftermarket rubber trim, but i can only get it to work with the windscreen. When i put it on the sides of the fairing i cant screw the fairing closed.
Can someone post a pic of there trim so i can see what it installed looks like

Yes it is. So it goes on the inside fairing... i did that and when trying to screw the fairing together it would not work. Vwhen i have no rubber trim everything screws together perfect.
Maybe the upgraded trim is to thick for this fairing and i should use the thinner one supplied.

Don't worry too much about how tight the fairing screws together, as long as it's not a huge gap. I monkeyed with mine for a while, and thought about buying the thicker upgraded gasket because there is one area I feel that isn't quite sealed. I happened to be a a dealer and looked at a couple of used road glides they had on the floor, and both were exactly the same as mine, same spot and everything.
ok so thanks to steelerdude1 putting up his really quick self painted road glide conversion, i decided to jump into the void and grab a oversees repop fairing myself and get this conversion going.
plans:
convert to road glide fairing
keep road king dash and tach
no guages in fairing, all speakers and tweets
figure out what to do with the nacelle to accept speakers or cap the nacelle
there is a small chance i might run tbars, 14" slingshots
