mi r odometer quit working
Light comes on and if I cycle through its there but up until one of the past 3 events when light came on it automatically chg'd to mi r.
Anyone else have this feature just decide to quit or have insight on how to fix?

what year bike?
does your gas gauge work?
does your "range" indicator sometimes work?
does your low fuel light come on--- and if so about how much fuel is in the tank?
has your tank been removed and maybe inverted or stood on end, so that the fuel lines can wrap around the float?

Yes
does your "range" indicator sometimes work?
It works if you cycle to it but no longer does it change from trip to range once fuel light comes on. While riding and gauge set to trip A, when fuel light comes on gauge chg's to mi r (range) but it quit. Now light comes on but gauge doesn't auto chg.

Yes, approx 1-1.5gals I'd guess, same as always just gauge quit auto chg'ing.

I would guess during cam work HD removed tank but cannot say for sure.
Edit: Just hung up with HD and they confirmed tank was removed.

but to tell you the truth I have never noticed if my odo switches over the R on it's own when the low fuel light is on ( 09 FLHTC).
if part this is because the fuel pump is cooled by immersion in fuel- I rarely run below 1/4 tank in the hopes that fuel pump has a longer service life.
Let's see if someone smart can help with your issue

IF I didn't have so much time into making it work I'd probably not care

Thanks
