Got a glitch. Right turn signals work fine, left turn signals don't. Both bulbs meter out ok. 4 way flashers work when both signal switches are closed. Also, when I turn the bike on, the right signal blinks 5 times...$%#@???? Any ideas? I am assuming the left signal switch is good since I can activate the 4 way flashers, just nothing on the left.
Grab a handful of brake, turn on ignition, turn on left signal and let flash 4 times, turn off. Do the same with the right signal and then the 4 way flashers. When finished turn off ignition and release the brake. Wait 2 min. and start the bike.
This has worked for me for weird turn signal issues. It's worth a try, and it's free.
Tried the reset procedure, and no change. Ran the diagnostic readouts through the odometer, and getting a b1121, TSM module. Bad module? Ran through the wiring and can't find any faults (shake the wiring harness, sez the manual).
