Default Too many things connected to the battery...

Just hooked up the hot wire for wife's heated vest. The heated gear people recommended against using the battery tender connector so that killed my idea. Now on each terminal I have: Battery charger SAE connector, Equalizer for the LED lights, and now the feed for the heated gear. All that on top of the stock battery cables. Of course all the rings are a different design and they don't mesh well when cranking down on the battery bolts. As I tighten the bolts down, all the circle ring connectors start turning as well making for twisted lines and the rings aren't orientated where I want them. Looked through my JP catalog and didn't see anything. Is there a battery mounted bus bar that might work? What does everyone else do??

I have seen both a small power distribution block used, and another idea that I think works a little better is to use a larger wire gauge ring terminal and crimp more than one wire in it. Hope others chime in with some other ideas for you too. FWIW I think the charger lead is a great idea. That way you don't need to add anything to the post.

Why would they recommend against the battery tender connector? It has a positive and negative and so does your heated gear. That's crazy.

Ok the Powerlet tip was the ticket. I got the Termin-8, it is exactly what I need. No hard mounting required, $44.95 delivered from Revzilla. Thanks Gents!!
