A few other "to do" items before you ride off the dealer's lot...
[ul][*]Assuming you have the factory security system, be sure and get the disarming PIN from your salesperson or service manager. Then as soon as you get home and have read through your owners manual (you ARE going to read the manual, right??
) reset the PIN to your own choice.[*]Make sure you get 2 key fobs.[*]Check the air pressure in your times. I have taken delivery of several bikes where the pressure was seriously over or under inflated. (The $6.50 an hour make-ready "techs" at my primary HDdealer tend to inflate the tire to whatever the max PSI is listed on the sidewall.)[*]If you have the air suspension pump handy, you might check the pressure in the shocks - especially if you'll be riding 2-up away from the dealer.[*]Make sure you get the full toolkit and manuals. (They usually are in the left saddlebag.)[/ul]
Congrats again and try to get some sleep between now and the end of the week.

Thanks guys.
Good idea on the pump TowJam...thanks.
Will check for the manuals and kit also at pickup.
I'll check the tires, won't be two-up though until I'm used to the bike alittle, then I figure 36/40. If I keep the mustang solo on, what psi would you think, 36/36?
I'll post some pics when I got her home.
Take it ezzzzzzzzzzzz

Just picked mine up and rode it....did 1000 miles service myself, and found nothing loose or out of the ordinary, since then, full blown mods !
The HD pump for the shocks is pricey IMO, I use the regulator on my air compressor at home, set it to what i want and fillem that way. No air compressor ?- buy the pump as you can blow them out at a gas station.
