installed aux lights on 14 sg, should light on gauges be lit?

installed aux lights on 14 sg, should light on gauges be lit?
sorry for the confusing post, but recently installed daymaker aux lights on my 14 sg special. Had the dealer flash the computer last weekend so the lights can stay on with high beams. Now my question is, i see a fog lamp looking indicator on the gauges, shouldn't this light up when i turn on the auxiliary lights? 2 dealers so far told me no, there isn't an indicator light on the gauges for these. Not a huge deal i guess, but if that fog indicator lights is meant to be on with the aux lights, i would like to have that option

page 46 of your owners manual states
the aux/fog lamp indicator is on when the aux/fog lamps are turned on.
I put 10k miles on a limited and that light was lite the entire time my aux lights where on.
