I goofed I pulled the lifters out of my 2007 Electra glide I noted which was the intake and
Exhaust on each cylinder but did not pay attention to which way the oil hole was facing on the front or rear. Service manual does not say any help here thanks feeling really stupid right now
Can you even put the retainer pin in if they are facing the wrong way?
The lifter has a flat on the left and right in the picture, it can be turned 180 degrees.
The pin is on the left of the two lifters.
Like said factory manual call for a certain position for the hole but most engine builders agree does not mater because there is a slot that is cut around the lifter for oil to flow to the hole.
